Post title : Tw grad trip Day 5 (Kaohsiung)
♥ You'll never know the real me.
Day's event: Qijin Seafood Street & shopping @ Sinkujiang
the day started pretty much later hoho.. yeah!! (meaning everyone got to sleep-in abit more). but we had to wake up early in the morning just for complimentary breakfast buffet downstairs. the food being served was not too bad~
lunch was at Qijin Seafood street recommended by Xue. It was about 45mins (by bus and ferry) away from our hotel. This seafood street is actually on another small island i reckon. not too sure though. haha
the journey to the seafood street:
by bus to Gushan Ferry Pier
then by ferry to small island..
and motorists get to travel across by driving their motorcycles to the lower deck of the ferry while walking passengers made their way up to the upper deck.
we were much clueless on how to get to that place when we reached the island. haha.. apparently, you can rent a scooter or bike to travel around. good way of exploring the place at your own leisure time and pace.
LUCKILY.. we didnt attempt this!! the guy in charge said it would only take 20-30 mins to cycle there. hmm.. since it was a bloody hot day, we decided on Cabbie! lol
okie.. it was really a good choice cos it was a pretty good distance away from the pier. haha! but we didnt had time to walk around some of the tourist attractions like the windmill thingy and the beach there.
all the good-looking delicious dishes are only at NT100 each!!!!! its darn cheap yeay!!!! amount to less than 5bucks each.
so each of us ordered a dish each which added to 9 dishes and we had a imperial-banquet styled lunch. hoho.. it was a pretty full-filling lunch. =)
and the shop owners were very friendly to us. They helped us to phone for cab, gave us free tibits too!!
and as the day grew hotter, we decided to have some COOLING fruit juices.
i love my honeydew juice and the watermelon juices!! truly REFRESHING
and it was then followed by shopping @ Sinkujiang till night falls. yipee!
apparently, this place grew energetic by the time ticks to dawn. that was when more shops were opened for businesss too. haha.. abit diaozx lah cos we were there quite early in the afternoon.
and the "Steals" of the day!! with a beaming rong hoho.
and it was in Kaohsiung where i bought my winnie the pooh petite figurines too!!! oh my.. if you are a big fan of these characters and of xiao ding dang, you'll just be dazed by the amount of cutie stuff they have!!
we were all starving after a day's of shopping and slacking.
when humans are hungry, this is what they would do... ->stupid acts hah!!
and i got a second serving of rice after that. i was HUNGRY.

note: there's even large and small sizes washing machines being catered. good!
