Zhen lost her strawberry soft toy cum keychain that was supposingly attached to her handphone pouch. It was last seen at 1145am, LT8. About 10 mins later, she discovered it had dropped. So she quickly traced back the route, in hope of finding it back. But nope. It wasn't anywhere to be seen. Upset Zhen kept whining and chanting "I lost my strawberry" a million times to ivan until he was very fan. Everyone she met in the afternoon was informed of her loss.
I learnt three things.
Number 1: It is upsetting to lose something you love. It was a gift from christy and i love it. Now, it is gone. No matter how big or how small, how expensive, how cheap the item is, a loss is a loss. It is silly for me to get upset over this little loss. But i experience saddness today. I could have been more careful. I shouldnt have bring it out today. Weilin said it is fate to lose it. But i don't believe in fate. I just lose it. I don't think god purposely wants to upset me. It is just not going to be there when i take out my hp again.
Number 2: Physical possession is not lasting. No matter how careful you are, it will be gone someday. There is no good or bad. Often, tangible things are the most intangible things on earth. Tangible things that give you security are the most unreliable things in the world. Things we cannot see, cannot believe are often the truth.
Number 3: Letting go is not easy.
